In April of 2008, ISC completed its 5 year accreditation review by SACS-CASI AdvancED Accreditation located in Atlanta, Georgia. As the final result of the review, ISC received a full 5 year term of accreditation.
This external peer review visitation takes place every five years. This is a great opportunity for external validation of our progress and practices, as well as demonstrating institutional integrity and trustworthiness.
All members of the ISC community had the opportunity to be involved in the preparation process in different ways such as by completing the survey conducted in October or by serving on the CSIP Team as a community representative. The visitation report submitted to SACS in December 2007, served as the basis for the visitation, was written as a compilation of these efforts. This report can be downloaded below.
The visitation team consisted of 5 highly experienced educators, coming from international schools and colleges in Ecuador, Chile, the US and Brazil. Besides reviewing the visitation report, the team also scheduled meetings with different groups: students, faculty, staff and Board representatives.
