The ISC Library Media Center has at your disposal a circulation and cataloging system. The Follett System will allow you to access the Library catalog from home through the Internet.

Click the following link for access to the eLibrary, Proquest database. This is the largest collection of digital resources to supplement K-12 study and it provides millions of files from more than 2,500 sources. Here you will find newspapers, magazines, books, maps, encyclopedias, almanacs, pictures, videos and transcripts.

ISC Library Media Center at the Villa Schaffer Campus:
Located on the first floor of the ECC. This library serves students from Toddlers to Kindergarten.
ISC Library Media Center at the Santa Felicidade Campus:
Located on the second floor of the cafeteria building. This library serves Elementary, Middle and High School students.
The Library Program
The Library Program of instruction aims to provide the skills, experience and confidence that enable students to use libraries and information resources for lifelong learning. The library also promotes storytelling and provides literature-related experiences that focus on the joy of reading.
Our Collection
The entire library collection consists of more than 25,000 books and nearly 800 audio-visual materials. The Library Media Center subscribes to several national and international magazines and newspapers. The school community may search books using our fully automated card catalog.
Elementary School Video Club
Elementary students may also check out videos. In order to become a member of the Elementary School Videoclub, the student must donate a new video appropriate for 1st to 5th grade students. Members receive a membership card and can take out one video for one week.
Volunteers
We are very fortunate to have wonderful volunteers helping to develop the Library Media Center. If you would like to contribute with some of your time and work, you are welcome to come by and choose one of the volunteer opportunities available:
Preparing Books: reinforce bindings; place new labels and code numbers
Storyteller: read aloud to students during library time
Decoration: create bulletin boards; make decorations for holidays
