On November 4, 2009, officials gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Early Childhood Center. Pictured here are Early Childhood Center Principal, Marisete Bolzani with ECC student Victoria Pessoa; ISC Board of Director President Eduardo Szazi and his son Felipe; and ISC Superintendent Bill Pearson with ECC student Diego Demeterco.Also in attendance that day were representatives of Doria, the main contractor for the project; Aldolfo Sagakuti, project architect; and GePlan, project manager.
The contract to build the Early Childhood Center has been awarded to Doria Construction for R$5.7 million. Construction is now underway and the new facility is expected to be ready for the opening of the school in August 2010.Once completed, the approximately 3,200 m2 facility will bring all of ISC’s students together on one campus and provide state-of-art facilities for ISC’s youngest students.
